Black and White- the picture has no color other than white and shades of black an grey, which gives a timeless effect Sepia- similar to black and white, but has a brown hue, also gives timeless effect Emphasis- most of the picture is black and white, with one point of color, which is the emphasized point Silhouette- a picture that has a black silhouette of something with color in the background Double Exposure- two photos merged together Boat n' hand- a photo taken using optical illusion Rule of Thirds- if you divide a photo equally into nine squares, and there are points of interest where the squares meet, then the photo is made more interesting (this applies almost all of the time)
